Getting started

Install Replify, activate it, and run your first chat session in under five minutes.

Install the free plugin

  1. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for Replify.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

No account, no signup, no licence key. The free plugin works the moment it's activated. You'll see a new Replify menu in the WordPress admin sidebar.

Open your dashboard

The Replify dashboard is at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=replify. From here you can see active chats, tickets, knowledge base articles, and (if you upgrade) automations.

Place the chat widget

The chat widget appears on your site automatically once Replify is active. By default it shows on every public page. You can scope where the widget appears under Replify → Settings → Widget.

If you don't see the widget on your site, check that your theme calls wp_footer(). Most themes do.

Send your first message

Open your site in an incognito window and click the chat bubble. Type a message and send it. Then go back to your admin dashboard. The new conversation appears in Chats with a notification dot.

Reply from the admin side, and the message appears in real time on your visitor's screen. That's the full loop. You're up and running.

Next steps

  • Live chat — sessions, threading, attachments, reactions, swipe gestures.
  • Tickets — when chat needs to escalate to something asynchronous.
  • Knowledge base — write self-serve articles to deflect repetitive tickets.
  • BYO-AI — connect your own OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini key for AI-assisted replies and KB summaries.

Activating Pro

Pro is a separate plugin. After buying a licence on replify.io, you'll get a download link and a licence key. Install Replify Pro alongside the free plugin, paste your key, and Pro features unlock permanently. If your licence later lapses, only updates stop. Features keep working.
