Why we built it

A three-year detour to the right product.

The honest version of the Replify origin story. A domain bought for one idea, a problem we didn't expect, and a product that ended up being the better fit.

The domain came first.

Three years ago I bought replify.io for a different startup, an AI tool that would auto-reply to tweets and LinkedIn comments using GPT. I wrote one LinkedIn post about it. That was the entire output.

I'd love to give you a more flattering version. There isn't one. Client work and Karobar Management took over, the AI-replies idea sat on a shelf, and the domain sat unused for almost three years. Renewed every year. Pointed at nothing. A small reminder of an idea that had once felt important.

Then we needed support tooling for Karobar.

As Karobar Management got close to launch, the team needed a customer support tool that fit the way we actually work: live chat, tickets, a knowledge base, and the kind of automation a small team can configure without hiring a help-desk specialist.

I tried everything on the market. Tidio, Crisp, Tawk.to, Fluent Support, SupportCandy. Each one solved part of the problem and forced compromises elsewhere. Pricing that scaled with seats forever. Live chat without tickets. Tickets without a KB. Or all of it hosted on someone else's servers, with our customer conversations in a database we didn't own.

So we built it.

A few months of evenings and weekends with my partner Danish. Live chat first, then tickets, then a knowledge base, then a no-code automation builder, then BYO-AI hooks for everything that benefits from it. Three support tools in one WordPress plugin, self-hosted, deeply integrated with the way the Karobar team actually works.

Powerful enough that we use it every day. Simple enough that an agency can install it in five minutes. And, since I already owned a domain that fit, "reply + simplify" turned out to describe a customer support platform even better than the original AI-reply idea.

What we charge, and why.

$79 a year for everything. Lifetime licences from $199. We charge what felt right to us as buyers, not what felt extractable to us as sellers. Pro features stay unlocked permanently after activation. If a licence lapses, only updates stop, never the features themselves.
